Cue Band

Cue Band Live

Everyone on the same song. Every rehearsal.

Cue Band Live gives directors a live session layer on top of Cue Band Free. Start a session, pick the chart, and the ensemble follows—on the same page, at the same time.

Live sync that fits how bands actually rehearse

Digital music only helps when the whole group can trust what they're looking at. Cue Band Live makes that practical for ensembles.

Same song, same page

When the director advances, the group advances. No more scattered page turns or “I'm still on the intro.”

Director controls the flow

You decide when to move on. Musicians focus on playing instead of guessing what's next.

Practical for rehearsal and show day

Use live sync in the band room, on the practice field, or during the performance when alignment matters.

Less version confusion

Pair Live with organization libraries so members aren't comparing different PDFs side by side.

Musicians stay on the free app

Members download Cue Band Free. Your organization adds Cue Band Live—no per-musician subscription required.

Scales with Lyre Library

Need more than 10 members or full sheet music management? Lyre Library plans include Live and grow with your program.

How a live session works

  1. 1

A director starts a live session from their organization.

  2. 2

Musicians open Cue Band Free and join the session.

  3. 3

The director selects the current song and page.

  4. 4

Everyone connected sees the same view and follows along.

Cue Band does not provide copyrighted sheet music. Directors and organizations are responsible for having appropriate rights to upload, store, and distribute music through the platform.

Included in Lyre Library

Sheet music management built for band directors

Lyre Library is where directors upload music, organize libraries by ensemble, assign parts, and distribute updates to members. Replace the folder sprawl, email chains, and “which PDF is current?” confusion with one system your whole group can trust.

Cue Band Live FAQ

How does live session sync work?
A director starts a live session and selects the current song and page. Musicians connected to the session see the same view on their devices, following the director's lead.
Do all musicians need a paid plan?
No. Musicians use Cue Band Free. The organization pays for Cue Band Live (or a Lyre Library plan that includes it).
Can we use Live during performances?
Yes. Directors use live sessions during rehearsals and performances when the ensemble benefits from staying synchronized on the same chart.
How many members can join?
Cue Band Live supports up to 10 organization members. Larger ensembles should look at Lyre Library plans, which include live sessions and scale to 300 members.

Give your next rehearsal a single source of truth

Cue Band Live is $49/year per organization for up to 10 members. Larger ensembles can start with Lyre Library.
