Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the Cue Band mobile application, the Lyre mobile application, and the Lyre Admin web interface at lyre.cuebandapp.com (together, the “Services”). The Services are provided by Jeffrey Brown (the “Service Provider”) as a commercial service. The Services are intended for use “AS IS.”

The Services collect information when you download, access, or use them. This information may include:

• Your device's Internet Protocol address (IP address)
• The screens or pages you visit, the time and date of your visit, and the time spent on those screens
• The time spent using the Services
• The operating system and browser you use on your mobile device or computer
• Account information such as your name, email address, organization name, and role
• For Lyre Admin and Lyre Library: content your organization uploads, part assignments, library metadata, and publishing activity needed to operate the service
• For Cue Band and Cue Band Live: setlists, song timing data, and live session activity associated with your account or organization
• For paid plans: billing contact information and subscription status processed through our payment provider

The Services do not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device.

The Services do not use Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to process your data or provide features.

The Service Provider may use the information you provide to contact you from time to time with important information, required notices, and marketing promotions related to the Services.

For a better experience while using the Services, the Service Provider may ask you to provide certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to your email address, name, and organization details. The information the Service Provider requests will be retained and used as described in this privacy policy.

Lyre Admin is used by directors and organization administrators to upload sheet music, map parts, assign music to members, and publish library updates. Members access assigned music through the Lyre mobile app. The Service Provider processes this information on behalf of your organization to provide Lyre Library.

Cue Band and Cue Band Live are used by directors and performance staff to manage setlists, song durations, and live timing. The Service Provider processes this information to provide those features to your organization.

Subscription fees for Cue Band Live and Lyre Library are processed by Stripe. When you purchase a paid plan, Stripe collects payment information such as your name, email address, billing address, and payment card details. The Service Provider receives limited billing information from Stripe (for example, payment confirmation, subscription status, and the last four digits of your card) but does not store your full payment card number.

Stripe's use of your information is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.

Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Services. The Service Provider may share your information with third parties in the ways described in this privacy policy.

The Service Provider may disclose user-provided and automatically collected information:

• As required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process
• When the Service Provider believes in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request
• With trusted service providers who work on the Service Provider's behalf, do not have an independent use of the information disclosed to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy policy (including Stripe for payment processing)

You can stop collection of information through the mobile applications by uninstalling them. You may use the standard uninstall processes available on your mobile device or through the mobile application marketplace.

To close a Lyre Admin account or request deletion of organization data, contact the Service Provider using the email address below.

The Service Provider will retain user-provided data for as long as you use the Services and for a reasonable time thereafter. If you would like the Service Provider to delete user-provided data you have provided through the Services, please contact them at hello@cuebandapp.com and they will respond in a reasonable time.

The Service Provider does not use the Services to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.

The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. The Service Provider encourages all children to never submit personally identifiable information through the Services. Parents and legal guardians should monitor their children's Internet usage and help enforce this policy by instructing their children never to provide personally identifiable information through the Services without permission.

If you have reason to believe that a child has provided personally identifiable information to the Service Provider through the Services, please contact the Service Provider at hello@cuebandapp.com so that necessary action can be taken. You must also be at least 16 years of age to consent to the processing of your personally identifiable information in your country (in some countries your parent or guardian may consent on your behalf).

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information the Service Provider processes and maintains.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of changes by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

This privacy policy is effective as of 2026-02-21.

By using the Services, you consent to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us.
